If there was one word to describe the first 24 hours following the announcement of Western Australia’s (WA) five day lockdown, ‘panic’ might be the most appropriate. And not just from consumers.
After the announcement,around 11am [Sunday], everything spiked with a a higher percentage of people rushing out to the shops to buy from main grocery stores.
